Carbon Studio Signs Agreement with PARP – MAGOS Project Set to Launch!

TL;DR: Carbon Studio signed an agreement with PARP to launch the MAGOS project – an AI-powered VR graphics optimization system. EU funding of PLN 4.1 million, total budget PLN 5.6 million.

We’re excited to announce that on December 30, 2024, Carbon Studio signed an agreement with the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) to implement our MAGOS project.

What is MAGOS?

MAGOS stands for Multiplatform Automatic Graphic Optimisation System. It’s our proprietary tool that leverages artificial intelligence to automatically optimize graphic collections in VR games. The system adapts assets to various hardware platforms – both current and future.

This technology aligns with our broader AI initiatives. For background on the project approval, see our earlier announcement about PARP’s positive opinion for MAGOS.

EU Funding Details

The MAGOS project was selected under the SMART Path call. It’s financed by the European Funds for the Modern Economy (FENG) program.

Key financial details:

  • EU Funding: PLN 4,117,518.75
  • Total Budget: PLN 5,642,201.25

Strategic Importance

Signing the agreement with PARP marks a significant step for Carbon Studio. It advances our innovative technologies in the VR industry and strengthens our position as a technology leader.

The MAGOS project complements our game development work, including Project Hermes with Meta and our established VR portfolio like Hunt Together.
